WELCOME TO MY TEACHER PAGE
Hi! My name is Kelli Maass and I love what I do, and I am fortunate to be able to do it in the greatest borough in the city! Way back in the late 90's, I received my undergraduate degree in education at Nyack College and went straight to work at Alfred E. Smith HS. After I received my graduate degree in education from Touro College, I moved on to the Herbert H. Lehman HS campus. 16 years later, here I am at Bronxdale—and I am so glad to be here! I am passionate about ELA and it brings me such great joy to share that passion with my students! Even though I have been a New Yorker for over half my life, I will always be a Jersey girl at heart! When I am not at work, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband and our incredibly awesome son! I am a huge reader; especially trivia/reference books and crime thrillers! I play video games, preferably alone, and I adore board games, the more people the better!
