Hello! My name is Carol Zaydel, and I was born and raised in South Brooklyn. My family left Russia to come to the US one year before my birth, so I am a first generation American, but I still feel close to my Russian roots as I still practice the language and customs with my family.
I graduated from Hunter College with a degree in English Literature, and then earned my Masters in English Lit and Education! I've always wanted to be a teacher, and I believe that as educators it is also our duty to cultivate love, respect, and open communication in all areas of our lives. It is my mission to support you and your journey, whatever shape your path takes. I am a firm believer that even if you're not THE best at something, you can still be YOUR best. Your life is a garden: it grows where the water flows!
