Academics Home
Our academic program is designed to prepare students for success in the classroom, on Regents examinations, and beyond high school. Through a rigorous, standards-aligned curriculum, students develop strong foundational skills in literacy, mathematics, science, and social studies while building the critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills needed in the real world.
Instruction is aligned with New York State Learning Standards and Regents requirements, ensuring students are well prepared for all required examinations and graduation pathways. Teachers use data-driven instruction, targeted supports, and enrichment opportunities to meet the diverse needs of learners and promote continuous academic growth.
In addition to Regents preparation, our program emphasizes real-world applications of learning. Students engage in collaborative projects, research, presentations, and technology-integrated lessons that connect academic content to careers, college, and everyday life. These experiences help students develop independence, accountability, and workplace-ready skills.
Our school is committed to college and career readiness by offering academic counseling, career exploration, and opportunities that support informed postsecondary planning. Whether students pursue college, vocational training, the military, or direct entry into the workforce, our academic program equips them with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to succeed in a rapidly changing world.
