Born in Dominican Republic, raised in Queens, New York, and committed to the Boogie Down Bronx! Ms. Zaiter started working in the Bronx in 2014 and hasn't looked back. Committed to equity in all ways, Ms. Zaiter is passionate about making sure all her students feel welcome, safe and have equal access to education. Ms. Zaiter obtained her BA's in Political Science and Sociology from SUNY Geneseo and her MS in Special Education from City College. Outside of running around Bronxdale, teaching, poking her head in everyone's business (to help, of course), Ms. Zaiter enjoys traveling around New York State, yoga, reading books by Black women and listening to Black women rap while running.
