Community Based Organizations at Bronxdale
Global Kids (GK) develops youth leaders through dynamic global education and leadership development programs. As the lead community based organization (CBO) for Bronxdale and a partner for the Department of Education’s Community Schools model. Global Kids fosters and builds on supporting students and their families holistically, while also fostering collaboration within our community.
As organization, we offer during school and afterschool programs that include: Power of Citizenry Leadership, College and Career Readiness, Digital Learning & Leadership, and a residency program in some academic classes.
As a 21st Century Community Learning Center Community School, Global Kids also supports initiatives from OmniLearn, Institute for Student Achievement, SAT and Regents Prep.
Below is a sheet for community service tracking. All students are required to complete 60 hours of community service.
