hey guys my name is turn giocatore I'm A Bronx Tale alumni and night and the City College of New York before we begin I apologize for any background that you might hear because I'm still at home a typical day in my college is waking up at 8 a.m. getting ready to head out College where I would take some take the train to head straight to campus new classes are in a big lecture hall room where I would usually sit in the middle or front where I could hear the professor better and interact with my other students around so usually I arrive very early so I could get better seats and I can talk with the students around me that's enough hey what what's their for what what are we going to learn today or simple questions that you might know but you just want to talk with them get their contact information for my cafeteria chicken over rice one of my favorite Asian Foods Middle Eastern foods and their Pizza pizza shop and there's a whole slushie bar so food options are endless and there's always going to be a deli so don't ever worry about the food options always going to be satisfied I would go to the library where the library is divided into three different levels where the top levels are attributed quiet as it goes down and gets kind of loud so I wouldn't usually stick to the second floor where it's not that loud but kind of quiet but it has such a nice view and doesn't feel so sorry I'm there with my friends and I study Circle just learning getting a glimpse of the views and getting my down before I go home because I don't like to finish Anthony and I like to get everything done on campus so some extracurricular activities that I attended or got found out about is by looking through our Graham Facebook and college app so I signed up for email list where I would be on that blast or I would follow their follow the clubs on Instagram or Facebook and images log me into a fight many opportunities from their emails her whatever they posted I got involved and desatnik club called bfsa andales today Association where we would XLS funny vines karaoke 9 whatever not whatever not so it was always interesting but I wanted more so what I did was I actually was actually interested in rushing a fraternity to have more of a social life and building like Brotherhood and helping out the community so when I got in it was a good experience open me up one side garage sale open me up too many opportunities like I was in Fellowship leadership and scholarship positions and opportunity and owes a lot of community service can help me out that actually landed me to where I am today where I'm in this all ship called American you do where it helps me better develop my professional academic and social skills plus I'm getting paper. that's it so how often do I work how often do I have to work collaboratively with my peers so collaboration is 80 to 90% off as a freshman because usually based on the small classes you would be in a group of time group assigned to your classmates where you would have to take on pass being charged actions to take the commitment to get to knows I'm and make sure everything's done but besides that besides getting the teachers to actually get you in those group assignment they try to be people just like how in big lecture hall rooms you'll be surprised how many different people you'll meet every day so I can get a bunch of people from Europe from Asia from Africa they always they all have their own story their own way of of studying and learning new things especially upperclassmen since they have the knowledge and in what I recalled guys might use them as a as an advantage to get to know them I'll get to know your Camp is maybe the easiest way to get like a job on campus or how to better set up your schedule cuz that really helped me out when I turned up the Trinity all my brothers were there to help me out make my schedule tell me which professors are helpful and just help me out with my expense so that was something. I cannot help you collaborate with my tears show me what's my favorite part about being away from campus so I'm actually not away from campus just because the City College of New York is it the first girl games that are internationally Long Island or whatever and it was actually like there was a study room Jim laundromat so it's like the opportunities are endless Plus on each level there's a RAV4 for Which floor and every Friday night you guys would be able to participate and pizza parties competition and I actually got into those competitions and I'm pizza party so it felt like a home without your parents being there what do you like to do on the weekend so weekends I would try to use my connections and clubs and organizations to get some community service so before I try to keep myself sorry about that but before I try to treat myself I will try to help out others and then if that's not if that's not there then I will try to things out of the ways I would treat myself is by going out driving through going to bowling alleys downtown been having just going on rides just a lot of stuff down in downtown Manhattan there are there are parties in New York city so I would say keep that in mind Asian amateur you have for your trusted friends with you in college besides treating yourself the next question is how do you ensure you meet death before you want to shoot yourself or what I did was create a calendar for myself and I had a room because nowadays everything's done technology I made sure I put my assignment in my class was my my extracurricular activities calendar and I would update it every week and look at it once or twice every day and one thing another thing that I did was change my home screen into my calendar every week so I'm not supposed to be I'd look at my home screen before I get on those asked I would see how did I did I finish my essay and that would ensure that I meet those deadlines and that's what helped me out the most during my freshman year and I still use it till this day what did John still play in preparing you for your current college experience so I'm still actually played a big role and preparing e by taking all nodes in those advisory circles is your very important in college no one is there is there to actually like sorry no one is there to actually come to you and help you out unless you make the effort show I'm still really need to speak up talk to people think about solution and collaborate and and all that stuff so that's why I that's why I that's why I believe that but I'm still communication collaboration and critical thinking because values are very important to when you're getting into college cuz you want to make sure you can communicate on find friends you want to make sure collaborate and put in the effort to get to get your work done at different bases in college and that was it is your mind up and that's why Bronx ale help me out the most all the activities they hosted like the holiday activities Halloween Christmas skipping after after class one thing that I kind of regret but I didn't really like because I actually get most of them not participating in the club I know a lot of students especially me like after class I would try to just go home straight home play video games I know if I was in high school I would kind of change it up and asking for dissipate and be more involved in all those activities and just smart people so I really enjoy that mostly about bronxdale just participating being in those activities making sure you're * being used wisely because like at the end of it advance and then you're going to have a break afterwards a break so you could choose either going home early or taking that two hours away just to be there with her friends with with your teachers. Relationship and just making sure you're having a great time in the because that's what Bronx tales about and that's what I miss the most so don't mind to like hit me up on LinkedIn if it's going to be provided to the by failed
